Mark is a repeat founder with B2B sales and go-to-market expertise, having brought 5 different products to market. He was an early hire at Triptease, where he spearheaded the North American sales strategy, delivering millions in annual recurring revenue as an individual contributor and sales leader. He spent two-and-a-half years in venture capital investing roles, including with the UVA Seed Fund, Sands Capital Ventures, and Fuel Venture Capital, where he met Vlad. Mark earned his Bachelor’s in Peace & Conflict Studies at Colgate University and a Master’s in Business Administration with concentrations in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and management science at UVA’s Darden School of Business.

Hate Your Deck also has a course on deck building and storytelling, which has been taught to over 350 entrepreneurs and fund managers across six continents. Mike's background includes a blend of investor, accelerator builder & operator, and storyteller. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, working with small business owners, a VC that launched a $50M fund, a Startup Ecosystem Builder for the World Bank, supporting startup programs worldwide, and a Kid's Book Writer. Well, the book is finished. He needs to finish editing and publish it.
